Biometrics & Privacy: A 360° Analysis Across the Americas

Gene Price and Masson Clutter from FBT’s Data Security and Privacy team will participate in two panel sessions as part of Privacy Rules’ live webinar, “Biometrics & Privacy: A 360° Analysis Across the Americas,” on Dec. 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. (ET). Featuring privacy professionals from North, Central, and South America, this multi-session event will provide an update on the regulatory overlay for biometric technologies and how organizations can align their risk management and data practices with evolving legal and ethical standards.

Clutter will present on the “Law Enforcement & Government Access” panel covering recent legislative developments in the Americas, their privacy and data security implications, and best practices for responding to data access requests from regulatory agencies. Price will present on the “Sectoral Impacts” panel, which will explore the use of biometric data in specific sectors such as fintech, along with key legal considerations for companies implementing biometric solutions.
